Spring 2016 for us of Bike Division won’t be just dominated by the issue of the classics of the North.
Two appointments that are undoubtedly of interest that wait us in Italy too with two Gran Fondos; two different stories that are affirming themselves for their organization and course’s quality.
Just a few weeks far one to another, the Florence’s Gran Fondo and the Colnago one are two fascinating races that deserve to be experienced.
For both races, as usual, Bike Division has available sports bibs guaranteed in preferential grid: a good pretext to hurry in booking, given that the remarkable success of the races that had more than 2000 cyclists last year.
Born to celebrate the World Championship 2013, the Florence’s Gran Fondo, planned for the next 17th of April 2016, is inserted in the event “Florence Bike Festival”, 3 days dedicated to the bike with bike test, expo village and a lot of funny events for all the family!
Two courses, one medium and one long, which will start from the Florence Cathedral, for this edition, giving more magnificence but also security and less distance of transfer.
Like the last year, also this edition includes the entry to the extraordinary Mugello racetrack, the speed temple, and, after that, you can go to visit Galliano, in Florence’s surroundings.
Desenzano del Garda, a city friend of the bike, hosts the Colnago’s Gran Fondo, from the patron’s name.
The first lasts 3 days, from the 6th to the 8th of May, pure fun that will start on Friday with the White Night of the Cycling Festival and will continue Saturday with the opening of the Expo Area, the Baby Bike competition and the Garda Lake tour.
Sunday will be the Gran Fondo day, with 3 different courses in measure to the participant’s abilities.
In the long course there are demanding rises with interesting inclination, suitable for a cyclist with a good preparation.
The other two courses are interesting too with the fascinating landscapes all around the Garda Lake.
