STAGE 1.
BERNINA LOOP: TO SWITZERLAND AND COME BACK

Bormio – Bernina Pass – Livigno – Bormio.

Distance: 125 km - Climbing: 2980mt

We start our trip with probably the most spectacular loop we can have from Bormio. After a long descent to Tirano, we climb the Bernina Pass. Amazing views all the way up the longest climb of the day. Descent to Livigno and then two more climbs, Eira and Foscagno Pass, before we enjoy the long descent to Bormio

GAVIA & MORTIROLO

Bormio – Passo Mortirolo – Passo Gavia – Bormio

Distance: 115 km - Climbing: 2900mt

One of the most famous anti-clockwise loop of the Alps. After a quick descent to Mazzo we attack the ‘official’ ascent of Mortirolo, often included in Giro d’Italia. 12.8kms length, 11% average. The climb that scares even the pro riders! Once in Ponte di Legno we ride the tougher side of Passo Gavia: 15 hairpins, a tunnel, and after to reach the summit, we come back to Bormio.
